Anyone with an “out of whack” digestive system knows how limiting this condition of the body can be. Knowing where each restroom is in town and not being able to enjoy an unlimited supply of different foods can make life almost downright miserable.
Digestive disorders cause discomfort and even pain; the quality of life is severely diminished. One’s thoughts are constantly on the “what if’s” and not on enjoying a pleasant meal, or simply being with friends and being able to random eat what is offered.
What are some of the common symptoms of digestive problems. Constipation and diarrhea. Although there are some people who also suffer from stomach aches and heartburn. Constipation simply means incomplete defecation and is caused by improper food chewing, a poor diet, not drinking enough fluids and a less active lifestyle. Pain is sometimes felt when a “trip to the loo” is required and the pain can be so severe that one keeps from having to go just to not experience the pain.
Of course this compounds the problem even worse. Even medications used to treat constipation causes constipation due to the dependence on them that can easily be done. Certain diseases also contribute to constipation.
Diarrhea is the opposite of constipation. It involves involuntary control of defecation with a high volume of liquid and salt lost.
Dehydration occurs and that is what makes it worse than constipation. Diarrhea can be caused by a viral infection, bacterial poisoning, parasites, diseases such as bowel cancer, and long term use of alcohol.
Heartburn is the burning sensation felt by the individual in the chest or throat. They are caused when the stomach acid creeps into the esophagus and even into the throat due to a weakened stomach sphincter. A bitter aftertaste is left in the mouth and the condition can become quite painful. Many individuals reach for over the counter medications and take them by the handful.
They only mask the condition. Changing one’s diet, taking prescribed medications or even surgical intervention are the preferred treatments of choice for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
Another means to treat digestive disorder which is becoming more popular is with aloe vera. Most notably is takingAloe vera which soothes the digestive disorders but also has healing properties. Aloe vera capsules are easy to swallow capsules which improves the immune system and increases healing throughout the entire digestion tract. The unpleasant consequences of eating certain foods that, in the past, created pain and misery are no longer felt, making Aloe Vera & digestive disorders the perfect combination.
