If you were to decide, which gift would you desire? A gift in a beautiful gold box with a bow or one in a simple paper bag that look like it’s been use. Now be sincere…Would you want the pretty parcel or the brown bag? I have played the white monster game before, where everyone bring aid, and then you get accept one. And sometimes it’s hard to choose. Do I pick the big one that I think is perhaps going to have amazing really good quality in there or do I pick the one that doesn’t look as good, but strength have something even better? Because you not at all know! I think if we would declare it, a lot of us are tense to the beautiful package. A brown bag may not yet look like there is barely anything in there. But what if we originate out what was actually inside all of these post?
And let’s say that in the beautiful gold box, we found a connect putrid brown bananas, a reeking, dirty sock and an apple that’s decaying too. All true, so not what we power imagine. Right? Here was a beautiful pack up and there was moldy fruit and a stinky sock. Not good! So let’s say that what we establish in the plain brown paper bag was a bracelet. And that the bangle is gold bars and silver and has two hearts connecting with each other. The carrier was plain wrapping, but it had something really beautiful inside.
And so, as we think about these letters I want us to believe about ourselves. Some of us might feel akin to we are plain Jane, a boring being on the outside. From our surface beauty we may now feel, we’re presently plain. And yet, we witness people in our school, in our churches, and every one around that are in these really beautiful packages. But, on occasion those people that appear to have it all together, the film stars and the rock star, may look perfect on the outside. But every so often they might be fading away or putrid away on the inside. I have to admit, I was one of those public. People might have look at me and said, man she’s got it all jointly. But on the indoor I was loss away, and here wasn’t true beauty on the inside. It was all external beauty.
And yet, you may brains today that you are currently that plain Jane. That you don’t look resembling everything special, you’re not model fabric. You may not like certain parts of your body. Like me, you might have acne scar, or you might feel round, or have further issues. But you recognize what? On the inside God may be cultivating an inner beauty tip that radiate out. And you have a bond with Jesus Christ, that change your appearance. People are pinched to you because of the love that you have for further people since of the love of Christ that is in you.
I want to encourage you to grow inner beauty tip; that inner beauty tip that now come from expenditure time with Jesus. It’s so hard to have any time in stillness, but it’s so vital to get away. We have our tune, we have our T.V., we’ve links, cell phone, etc. that it’s solid to unplug. I know, because these last only some weeks I haven’t taken that quality time with Jesus that I’ve desirable. Sure I’ve useless some time in the morning, but I didn’t do the genuine profound time of prayer and journaling. The time where I expend listening to God. And when I do shatter away and spend quality time with God, I felt so greatly different. The last few weeks I’ve been feeling puzzled and anxious, not knowing what to do. Though, today I sense clarity again. I heard God language to me through my magazine and I felt His love once more
I fancy to cheer you to expend quality time in prayer. Not legalistically, not proverb we have to do this, this, and this. But expenses that time with God so that your inner beauty tip can excel through. And that your inner beauty tip shines out, no theme what you seem like on the outside. Whether you are the glossy pack up or the plain package. You can have inner beauty that enhance the outer beauty God has agreed you. I encourage you to read over Psalm 139 this week. It meeting about how we are fearfully and amazingly made. You are special, no matter what you look like on the outside, no subject where you are at with your rapport with Jesus. You are special, and He wants you to know that today. I hearten you to grow your inner beauty tip .
